During our teacher work days, the faculty had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Mary Yenik, M.A.T. "Mary is co-founder and a director of Knowledge Arts Foundation, an educational nonprofit organization. Dedicated to supporting educators in their ongoing professional development, Mary often presents at AMS conferences and Montessori training programs."* She addressed the parents at parent orientation. She spoke on parent/teacher communication and having a "Growth" mindset rather than a "Fixed" mindset when encouraging our children to persevere.
